Couponing in the Digital Age TIME SENSITIVE Please Read

Let's learn about couponing!  It isn't the old style of couponing where you clip, clip, clip... I mean you CAN but in this post we are going to do digital coupon deals, digital rebates and even coupon clipping services!

So... let's start with getting the tools that you need.  There are many , many opportunities to make your normal routine purchases into cash back, discounted, and or free treasure hunts!  Beware, it is addicting!

So hang onto your hat! First up is cash back apps for your cell phone.  These apps are totally free and safe!  What you will do on these apps is choose the deals and add them to your list in the app.  Once you have had your shopping trip, you can take a picture of your receipt and... ta daaaa!  It won't be long until your purchases will add up in the app.  Once you get to .. say... $20 or more, you can cash out.

Cash out:  choose to have cash deposited into your Paypal or even choose between gift cards for stores or restaurants!

You can use that same receipt on different rebate / cash back apps too!  For now, we are only using ibotta
I love this app!  Your going to get a bonus after you get going too!  Get started HERE   Ibotta will send you a text that invites you to download the app.  There are lots of offers on this app.  Don't overwhelm yourself

This site can be used both on your phone as an app and on your desktop computer.  I print off some high value coupons on my computer.  You can also link this account to specific stores.  I add some coupons from coupons dot com to my Dollar General account.  The linking only requires the phone number.  If your store has a loyalty card, you can link that as well.  (kroger ect)!  How cool is that?  See below on how to use Dollar General coupons at the cash register.  Access Coupons.com HERE

Dollar General is a gold mine I tell ya!  The price you see on the shelf can be slashed to nearly nothing and that is what we are focusing on primarily today.  Get your Dollar General Deals started  HERE, please look at the top right for the digital coupon banner.  You will be able to download the Dollar General App.  Here is how this works.  DG chooses available coupons based on your shopping history.  The more you shop, the better the coupons and variety.  When you see a coupon you like (or I suggest) add it to your lists.
  • Once you have your lists done, (and you can do this in the store too) you are ready to save $$.  Now shop either online or in the store.
  • Make sure you are logged into the app,  at the register, you will be putting your  phone number in the keypad.
  • Now all those savings will automatically go off your order.  Your receipt will be sent to your phone.  Which is cool because you can send that to the rebate apps to make more money!!!
Here we goooooooo!!!!!  Here are some products I look forward to purchasing tomorrow:
  • 3 Suave children's shampoo @ $2.00 each = $6.00    Dollar General will automatically give me $2.00 off the total ($2 off a $6 Suave purchase)  This brings the total down to $4.00.    I'll be sending a copy of the cash register receipt to Ibotta.  They will credit me another $3.00.  Now the total is $1.00 for all three bottles!
Here are the Dollar General Digital Coupons that I will be adding to my list :
Scott Toilet Paper $.75 digital coupon.. If you have a paper     $1.00 coupon, do not add the .75 into your DG account.
Tide Pods $3 digital coupon
Gain $2.00 digital coupon
Gain fabric softener $2.00 digital coupon
Febreeze $3.00/2 digital coupon
Store Saturday coupon (back of old receipt or from your app)        $5 off $25 purchase
PURCHASE
(1) Scott Comfort Plus Toilet Paper 18 rolls           $6.75
(1) Tide Pods 12 - 16 ct                                              $4.95
(1) Gain Flings 12 - 14 ct                                           $3.95
(1) Gain Fabric Softener  41 oz                                  $3.95
(2) Febreeze @ $3 each:                                            $6.00

My digital $5 off $25 did not come off!  The cashier had me go ahead and sign into my digitals at the beginning of the transaction.. I am assuming that is a glitch.  I think I am going to give the paper coupon found on the back of the previous cash register receipts first and THEN sign in.  The $5 off $25 coupons are supposed to be applied to the total beginning total and NOT AFTER the other coupons are subtracted.    Tip:  All clothing with a blue dot is 70% off today.  I bought tons of long thermal underwear that was ringing up for $2.10 each and other clothing for my father!.
